Every student begins with a comprehensive reading assessment. Conducted live and one-on-one, this evaluation reveals precisely where your child's reading and writing skills break down, and it becomes the blueprint for an individualized instruction plan. Families may also purchase the assessment on its own for a clear, expert picture of their child's literacy skills.

Frequently asked questions

How do payments work?

Families may pay in full at enrollment or choose the two-payment plan. The first payment is due before instruction begins, and the second is due at week 5.

Can we switch packages?

Certainly. As your child gains ground, you may move from Accelerate to Foundations, or the reverse, at the start of a new program cycle.

What if we need to cancel a session?

With at least 24 hours' notice, a cancelled session may be rescheduled. Late cancellations and missed sessions are forfeited.

What happens after 10 weeks?

At the final parent conference, we will review your child's progress together and discuss whether another cycle would serve them well.

How long do we have to complete our sessions?

All sessions should be completed within the 10-week program, plus a two-week grace period for rescheduled lessons. Please note that rescheduled sessions depend on Ms. Kristy's availability, so options may be more limited than your regular weekly schedule.

Where do sessions take place?

All lessons are delivered live through Teach with Koala, a secure virtual classroom. A computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection is all your child needs
